What is TuneCrazy?

TuneCrazy is a free music video discovery site that works like a music television channel you program yourself. Pick a genre — Country, Jazz, Pop, Rap, Rock, Electronic, Metal, R&B, Blues, or Showcase — and TuneCrazy plays a continuous random stream of music videos from that genre, spanning the 1950s to today. The Showcase genre is special: it's where bands and independent artists share their own music videos with the community.

The library holds 11,250 music videos that have been played 4,401 times. Every video is community-submitted or hand-curated, and filtered so you get actual music videos — no compilations, karaoke tracks, or hour-long mixes. Playback runs through the official YouTube player, so artists always get their views.

Current library: 2,292 Rock · 2,188 Country · 2,176 Pop · 1,989 Jazz · 1,385 Rap · 306 Blues · 306 R&B · 304 Electronic · 304 Metal.

Yes. TuneCrazy is completely free — no account, no sign-up, no subscription. Videos play through the official YouTube player, so artists still get their views and royalties.

What genres and eras does TuneCrazy cover?

10 genres — Country, Jazz, Pop, Rap, Rock, Electronic, Metal, R&B, Blues, or Showcase — spanning every decade from the 1950s through the 2020s. You can browse any genre/decade combination, like 1980s Rock or 1990s Rap, from the browse pages.

Can I share my own band's music videos?

Yes! The Showcase genre exists exactly for that. Submit your band's YouTube video on the Add a Video page, choose Showcase as the genre, and after a quick moderation review it joins the Showcase stream and browse page where the community can watch, like, and share it.

How do I control playback?

Use the left and right arrow keys (or swipe on mobile) to skip between videos, the up arrow to like, and the down arrow to dislike. You can also save videos to your favorites and share direct links to any video.

Can I add a video to TuneCrazy?

Yes — anyone can submit a music video. Paste a YouTube link on the Add a Video page, pick the genre and decade, and it joins the library after a quick moderation review.

Where do the videos come from?

Every video is a YouTube embed — TuneCrazy hosts nothing itself. The library is curated to be actual music videos: compilations, full albums, karaoke tracks, and mixes are filtered out.
